เพื่อนรักบินมาจาก USA เพื่อมาเยี่ยมครอบครัว สองสามปีจะมาสักที เราก็จัดทริปเที่ยว แบบไปเช้าเย็นกลับ
หลัก ๆ ก็มี แวะพระราชนิเวศน์มฤคทายวัน
วัดเขาตะเกียบ
เพลินวาน แล้วก็แวะกินขนมกันที่ ร้านขนมบ้านใกล้วัง เพื่อนเลี้ยง เราทานฟรี อิอิ
วันเดียวเที่ยวได้ แต่กลับค่ำนิดนึงค่ะ

We left the hotel in the morning to catch a train back to Rome. We arrived into the hotel around noon. Father and I had mutual agreement that we should take a nap. In the afternoon, we asked hotel staff to suggest us how to go to the airport. There were many choices such as walking to the metro and then catching a train, or taking a taxi to another train station and then catch a train. But we decided to take a taxi from the hotel to the airport. It was more expensive but it was convenient. The hotel staff called a taxi service to make reservation for us.
ออกจากโรงแรมแต่เช้า ขึ้นรถไฟที่จองไว้กลับมาถึงโรม เข้าพักที่โรงแรมเดิมตอนเที่ยง ๆ นอนเอาแรงก่อน พอตกบ่ายก็ไปหารือพนักงานโรงแรมว่า พรุ่งนี้จะไปสนามบินอย่างไรดี มีหลายวิธีที่ประหยัด เช่น ขึ้นเดินไปขึ้นเมโทรแล้วไปต่อรถไฟไปสนามบิน หรือ ขึ้นแท็กซี่ ไปต่อรถไฟที่สถานีรถไฟไกลจากโรงแรมไปอีกหน่อย แต่รวม ๆ แล้ว เราเลือกความสะดวก เรียกแท็กซี่มารับดีกว่า ให้พนักงานโรงแรมโทรจองให้เลยสะดวกมาก
There was a plenty of time before dinner. We walked to a small fruit store opposite to the hotel. The seller was an Egyptian. He asked us where we came from. I told him that we came from Thailand. He was so happy and took his passport out of the drawer of his desk. It was to show us that he visited Thailand once and was so impressed. He gave discount for apples we bought. Thank you.
เวลายังเหลือเฟือก่อนจะถึงมื้อเย็น เราเดินไปซื้อผลไม้ที่ร้านผลไม้ตรงข้ามโรงแรม คนขายถามว่าเรามาจากประเทศไหน พอตอบว่า Thailand เขาดีใจมาก เขาว่าเขาเป็นชาวอียิปต์ เคยมาเที่ยวเมืองไทย ประทับใจมาก หยิบ passport แล้วโชว์ให้ดูว่าเคยมาจริง ๆ แถมลดราคาค่าแอปเปิลให้ด้วย
For dinner, I told my father that there would be no more Chinese food. So we would have Italian food. However, we had bad luck. It was Sunday and many restaurants around the hotel were closed. Finally, we had dinner at a Pizzeria not far from the hotel. It was my foreigner sister’s favorite one. We had pizza, garlic bread, Coconut ice-cream and coffee. Yummo!!!
มื้อเย็นวันสุดท้ายในอิตาลี ตกลงกับพ่อว่าเราจะทานอาหารอิตาเลี่ยนกัน (เบื่ออาหารจีนแล้ว) เดินหาร้านกันนานมาก เพราะร้านส่วนใหญ่แถวโรงแรมปิดวันอาทิตย์กันหมด สุดท้ายเราก็ทานพิซซาร้านโปรดของพี่ฝรั่ง พ่อกับเราสั่ง พิซซาแป้งบางกรอบ ขนมปังกระเทียม ไอศกรีมมะพร้าว และกาแฟ โอ้ว อร่อยทุกอย่าง โดยเฉพาะอย่างยิ่งไอศกรีมมะพร้าว ไม่แพงด้วยนะ ค่าเสียหายทั้งหมด 14 ยูโร (ถ้าจำไม่ผิด) เสร็จแล้วก็เดินกลับมานอนพักเตรียมเดินทางกลับ
Next morning, after having breakfast we said goodbye to all hotel staff. The taxi arrived into the hotel on time. The driver was in a very good mood since Italy won a Euro football match last night. He explained that our hotel was located out of the area of center of Rome. So, the rate was not 40 Euro fixed rate. He had to charge by distance. And there were two rates. One was inside the city, another was out of the city. When we arrived into out of the city zone, he pressed the meter button again. The rate was higher than inside the city. However, we paid only 36 or 38 Euro (I was forgetful!!!). My father asked for the driver name. He said his name was Bradd Pitt. I told him I was Angelina and nice to meet him. :-p
รุ่งเช้าหลังจากทานอาหารที่โรงแรมก็ร่ำลาพนักงาน แล้วแท็กซี่ก็มารับ แท็กซี่อารมณ์ดีมาก เพราะเมื่อคืนทีมฟุตบอลของอิตาลีชนะทีมอะไรก็จำไม่ได้แล้วในการแข่งขันบอลยูโร แท็กซี่อธิบายว่าโรงแรมที่เราอยู่ อยู่นอกโซนแบบคิดเหมา ดังนั้น จะไม่ได้จ่ายในอัตราเดียว 40 ยูโร แต่จะเก็บตามระยะทาง โดยในเมืองจะคิดอัตราหนึ่ง และออกนอกเมืองจะคิดอีกอัตราหนึ่ง จะต้องกฎมิเตอร์ 2 ครั้งแล้วยอดเงินจะรวมกัน สุดท้ายยอดเงินคือ 36 ยูโรหรือ 38 ยูโรแถว ๆ นี้ (นานแล้วชักจะเลือน ๆ) พ่อถามชื่อคนขับ เขาว่าเขาชื่อแบรด พิทท์ เราก็เลยบอกว่าเราชื่อ แองเจลีน่า ยินดีที่ได้รู้จัก อิอิ
At the Thai Airways counter, we met a European officer; she greeted and paid respect to us in Thai style. It was very polite and her accent was so impressive. She said my luggage was so cool. I was a little bit embarrassed since it looked like crocodile. I just bought it before the trip.
ตอนไปเช็คอินที่เคาน์เตอร์การบินไทย พนักงานหน้าตาเป็นชาวยุโรปชัดเจน แต่สวัสดีค่ะชัดและไหว้สวยมาก ๆ เยี่ยมเลย พนักงานชมว่ากระเป๋าเดินทางเราเก๋มาก (ปั๊มลายนูนเหมือนหนังจระเข้ มองเห็นเด่นแต่ไกลเลย) เราได้แต่เขิน เพิ่งซื้อใหม่ก่อนออกเดินทางเอง
On the airplane, air hostesses were quite senior but they took care very well. They often came to us and asked whether we needed any other things. Thank you once again. I had a chance to watch John Carter movie. My friend recommended me to watch it a few months before the trip. I liked it. Good movie!!
บนเครื่องบินพนักงานดูแลดีมาก จากการสังเกต พนักงานทั้งลำค่อนข้างสูงอายุ แต่ระดับการให้บริการไม่ตกเลยค่ะ สอบถามเรากับพ่อตลอดว่าอยากได้อะไรเพิ่มไหม ได้ดูหนังเรื่อง จอห์น คาร์เตอร์ ที่เพื่อนรักอยากให้ดูด้วย สนุกมาก แนะนำให้ดูค่ะ
We arrived into Suvannabhumi airport and then took a taxi back home. Since it took around 30 minutes, then we chatted a lot. The taxi driver said he always drove at night. He took passengers from public houses or other entertainment places many times. That made him depressed and thought we must teach our kids well. He also told us that he wished to won a big prize of lottery and then he could buy 4 taxis: one for him, one for his wife, and other twos for his kid. They would rent them out. We wished him a very good luck!!
พอถึงสุวรรณภูมิก็เรียกแท็กซี่กลับบ้าน คุยกันสัพเพเหระ ส่วนใหญ่ก็เรื่องปัญหาสังคม เขาว่าเขาขับรถกลางคืนมาก เห็นสภาพผู้โดยสารที่ออกมาจากสถานบันเทิงแล้วต้องสอนลูกให้ดี ๆ สุดท้ายบอกว่า อยากถูกล็อตเตอรี่แล้วซื้อแท็กซี่ 4 คัน สำหรับตัวเอง ภรรยา และลูกอีกสอง แล้วให้เช่า เก็บค่าเช่า อยู่ได้สบาย เราและพ่ออวยพรขอให้เขาสมความปรารถนา
Finally, we arrived into our place safely. I have to thank lot of people behind this trip: my foreigner sister “Kim” who suggested me to visit her in Rome and inspired me to write stories of my trip, P’Da who lent me books and DVD, P’Taew – for the information about Florence, P’Ple for a small passport bag, Nok’s mother and Na Lek – for the waist bag belt, P’Taew and P’A – for my holiday leave approval, Dr.Nuch – for all suggestions, Ann – for reading all posts on my blog and asking me to take lot of photos, my mother who stayed at home alone, my brother who took care of my mother and my father who carried back pack and travelled with me.
(Sorry if I forget any other names. Please note that I do appreciate all of your help.)

One of the attractiveness of Florence was you could easily walk from a tourist spot to another one. And you could do the same thing for a few days.
สเน่ห์ที่น่าหลงใหลประการหนึ่งของฟลอเรนซ์ คือ สถานที่ท่องเที่ยวต่าง ๆ อยู่ไม่ไกลกัน เราสามารถเดินจากจุดหนึ่งไปอีกจุดหนึ่งได้อย่างง่ายดาย และเนื่องจากสถานที่ท่องเที่ยวมีมาก เราสามารถเดินได้สองสามวันเลยทีเดียว
The Duomo
We walked to the Duomo or Basilica of Saint Mary of the Flower. This place was always crowded. After taking some photos and waiting for around 15 minutes, we went inside the octagonal Baptistery. (Wiki – The cathedral complex, located in Piazza del Duomo, includes the Baptistery and Giotto’s Campanile. The three buildings are part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site covering the historic centre of Florence and are a major attraction to tourists visiting the region of Tuscany.) Let’s see the photos of inside and outside of this Baptistery.
เหมือนเดิม เราเดินจนไปถึงดูโอโม ซึ่งมีชื่อที่เป็นทางการ คือ Basilica of Saint Mary of the Flower ซึ่งประกอบด้วยอาคาร 3 หลัง คือโดมหรือดูโอโม หอระฆังและ Baptistery จากการสังเกตพบว่า ที่นี่คนหนาแน่นตลอดเวลา ตั้งแต่ที่เล็งไว้เมื่อวานแล้ว เราและพ่อเลยเก็บรูปด้านนอกไปพลาง และยืนเข้าแถวรอไปพลาง ประมาณ 15 นาทีก็ได้เข้าไปใน Baptistery หรือสถานที่ประกอบพิธีล้างบาป (ขออภัยหากเข้าใจคลาดเคลื่อน) ซึ่งเป็นอาคารรูปแปดเหลี่ยม น่าสนใจทั้งข้างนอกและข้างใน ดูรูปเลยดีกว่า
Here, I met a Swedish couple. The husband showed me many photos he took with his Sony digital camera. He said the camera was cheap and good. I showed him I used my tablet to take photos and called my mother via Skype. Despite of showing our technologies, we agreed that people these days were so lucky to have technology. But the more important thing was the beauty that you could touch with your heart and memorise it with your brain.
ที่ Baptistery นี้ เราพบสามีภรรยาชาวสวีเดนคู่หนึ่ง สามีมาคุยด้วยเรื่องการถ่ายรูป เขาใช้กล้องโซนี่ ซึ่งเขาบอกว่าคุณภาพดีราคาถูก เราบอกว่าของเราใช้ tablet นะ ใช้ถ่ายรูปด้วย แล้วก็ Skype กลับเมืองไทยมาคุยกับแม่ด้วย แม้ว่าเราจะอวดเทคโนโลยีกันไปมา แต่เราก็เห็นตรงกันว่า พวกเราโชคดีกว่าคนในอดีตตรงที่มีเทคโนโลยีที่ให้ความสะดวกสบายมากมาย แต่สิ่งที่สำคัญกว่าก็คือ ความงามที่สัมผัสได้ด้วยใจ และสามารถบันทึกไว้ในสมอง
The Santa Croce Basilica
Since we still had time, father and I decided to walk further to visit the Basilica of Santa Croce. Yes, we wanted to pay respect to Galileo and Michelangelo. Their tombs and other great people’s ones were here. Father said the tombs were beautiful.
เนื่องจากยังพอมีเวลา พ่อกับเราเลยตัดสินใจเดินต่อไปอีกไกลเหมือนกัน เพื่อไปโบสถ์ Santa Croce หากถามว่าที่นี่มีอะไรเด็ด ตอบได้ทันทีเลยว่า ที่นี่เป็นที่เก็บศพของกาลิเลโอและไมเคิลแองเจโล ธรรมดาซะที่ไหน เวลาเข้าไปต้องซื้อบัตรเข้าชมนะคะ พ่อบอกว่า โลงศพของแต่ละคนสวย ๆ ทั้งนั้นเลย มีรูปยืนยัน พ่อกับเราได้ไปเคารพศพผู้ยิ่งใหญ่ของโลกสมใจ คุ้มค่าและเป็นประสบการณ์ที่ดีมาก
We took a bus back to the hotel. Tomorrow we would take a train back to Rome.
เคารพศพเสร็จก็นั่งรถเมล์กลับโรงแรม มื้อเย็นทานอาหารจีนเหมือนเดิม วันรุ่งขึ้นจะนั่งรถไฟกลับไปโรม

After seeing lot of paintings, we walked to the Piazza della Signoria. Here, there were many things to see such as the Fountain of Neptune, the Replica David in fron of Palazzo Vecchio and the Palazzo Vecchio itself.
ออกจาก Uffizi มาก็เดินมาเรื่อย ๆ จนเจอจัตุรัส Signoria (Piazza della Signoria ) ที่มี Fountain of Neptune ข้าง ๆ กันก็เป็น Palazzo Vecchio หรือวังเก่า ด้านหน้ามีรูปปั้น David จำลองอยู่ ซื้อบัตรเข้าไปดูข้างใน Palazzo Vecchio ข้างในก็มีอะไรให้ดูเยอะเหมือนกัน
Our Palazzo Vecchio visiting ended around 5.30 pm. We walked along the street and found a fruit and vegetable store. So, father bought some kinds of fruit. Then we walked to the Duomo. We just took some photos of the Duomo and other tourist spots beside it and intended to visit this area again tomorrow.
ออกเย็นพอสมควรปราณห้าโมงครึ่งเห็นจะได้ เดินผ่านร้านผลไม้ เลยแวะซื้อกันพอสมควร แล้วก็แวะ Duomo ที่เป็น check point ที่สำคัญ เนื่องจากเย็นแล้ว แวะถ่ายรูปไว้ก่อน ตั้งใจไว้ว่าพรุ่งนี้จะแวะมาเที่ยวด้านใน

In Florence, we had breakfast at two coffee shops. One was the shop that had a very handsome seller. Another one had a very cool female barista. She made me thought of Coyote Ugly movie. And she was so nice to give us free pure water.
ร้านกาแฟที่เราไปทานมื้อเช้าใน Florence นี้ นอกจากร้านที่คนขายหล่อ ๆ แล้ว ยังมีอีกร้านหนึ่งคือร้านที่คนขายเป็นผู้หญิง แต่งตัวเท่มาก เห็นแล้วนึกถึงหนัง Coyote Ugly เลย ที่สำคัญคือคนขายใจดี แถมน้ำเปล่าให้เราด้วย
After having breakfast, we took a bus and then walked to Galleria dell’Accademia to see the original David sculpture by Michelangelo. Even we arrived into the museum quite early, the waiting line was quite long. Aha, guess whom we met at this place, again. It was the cute man in yellow t-shirt with his friends. This time he could sell tickets to some tourists quickly. Good for him!! We did not buy tickets from him since father had fun standing in the line. We waited around 30 minutes!! It was quite okay.
หลังจากรับประทานอาหารเช้าเสร็จ เราก็พร้อมไปพบคุณเดวิดตัวจริงแล้ว นั่งรถเมล์แล้วก็เดินไปจนถึง Galleria dell’Accademia ที่อยู่ของคุณเดวิด ฝีมือไมเคิลแองเจโล ขนาดไปเร็วแล้ว แถวก็เริ่มยาว ไม่รู้ว่าพรหมลิขิตหรือเปล่า เจอพ่อหนุ่มชุดเหลืองมาขายตั๋วเข้าชมอีกแล้ว ได้ทักทายกันอีก วันนี้เขาโชคดีได้ลูกค้าอย่างรวดเร็ว แต่ไม่ใช่เรา เพราะพ่อบอกว่าเข้าคิวสนุกดี ประมาณ 30 นาทีเราก็ได้เข้าไปข้างใน
We bought a museum guide book and I recommended everyone to have one since it made me walked around the museum with fun. Walking shortly, we found David. Stunning!! No, no, no. It was not about the nudity. It because of the Michelangelo’s talent. Seeing it by yourself to find out why it was a masterpiece of Renaissance sculpture. Inside the museum there were also other sculptures and paintings to see.
เข้าไปแล้วก็ซื้อหนังสือพิพิธภัณฑ์อีกไว้อ่านไว ๆ เป็นคู่มือเดินชม (ขอแนะนำว่าควรซื้อ เพราะจะทำให้ชมพิพิธภัณฑ์ได้อย่างเพลิดเพลิน) เดินเข้าไปด้านในนิดเดียวก็พบคุณเดวิดแล้ว เหมือนโดนนะจังงัง ไม่ใช่เพราะเขาโป๊นะคะ แต่ไมเคิลแองเจโลฝีมือดีมาก ๆ กล้ามเนื้อชัดเจน เส้นเลือกชัดเจน ตาสวย พ่อลูกนั่งดูและเดินดูอยู่นานเลยทีเดียว ภายในพิพิธภัณฑ์ก็มีงานประติมากรรมและงานจิตรกรรมที่น่าสนใจอีกมาก ดูไปเรื่อย ๆ ก็เกือบสองชั่วโมงเหมือนกัน
San Macro
We left Galleria dell’Accademia and found a gellateria. Since father needed more energy and wanted to go to toilet, we then got into this ice-cream shop. We made right decision. The gelato was yummy!! After having ice-cream, we had lunch at a small park next to the gellateria.
Opposite to the gellateria, it was San Macro church. There were no many tourists. Inside there were many paintings about Jesus. For more information, please visit http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/San_Marco,_Florence
ออกจาก Galleria dell’Accademia ก็เดินต่อไปเรื่อย เจอร้านไอศกรีมน่าทาน แวะเข้าไปเพราพ่อต้องการเพิ่มพลังงานและเข้าห้องน้ำ ขอบอกว่าไอศกรีมอร่อยมาก ทานไอศกรีมแล้วก็แวะทานอาหารกลางวันที่เตรียมมาตรงสวนสาธารณะใกล้ ๆ ซะเลย
Opposite to the gellateria, it was San Macro church. There were no many tourists. Inside there were many paintings about Jesus by some famous painters. No photo taking allowed. However, we had good experience to climb up to the room under the roof of the church. I had to confess that some moments, I was shivering (little bit) since it was so quiet and quite dark there. ตรงข้ามร้านไอศกรีม เป็นโบสถ์ San Macro ซึ่งค่อนข้างเงียบ แทบจะไม่มีนักท่องเที่ยวเลย แต่ด้านในมีภาพเขียนผนังเกี่ยวกับพระเยซู ฝีมือศิลปินดัง ๆ หลายคน แต่เราไม่รู้จัก 
แล้วก็มีนิทรรศการเกี่ยวกับหนังสือสำคัญทางศาสนาอยู่จำนวนหนึ่ง คุ้มค่าแก่การแวะชมค่ะ ข้างในห้ามถ่ายรูป จึงมีรูปมาฝากกันไม่มากเท่าไรนัก ได้ปีนไปดูห้องใต้หลังคาโบสถ์ด้วยค่ะ จริง ๆ ดูไปดูมาแอบหลอนนิด ๆ เพราะบ้างในค่อนข้างมืด และคนน้อย
Next place was the Duomo. We could not miss it since we visited Florence.
สถานที่ถัดไป ต้องไปดูโอโม ก่อนจะหมดวันเสียก่อนค่ะ อุตส่าห์มาถึง Florence ถ้าพลาด Duomo ก็แย่เลย

After spending around 2.5 hours at the tranquil Pitti Palace and Boboli Garden, we followed our PLAN A by walking to Santo Spirito. My mission was to see the famous Crucifix by Michelangelo (yes, he was in everywhere!) . He scrupled this wooden crucifix when he was 17. It was a pity that it was closed. So, we just walked to see other things inside the church. And no photo taking was allowed.
ใช้เวลากับ Pitti Palace และ Boboli Garden อยู่สองชั่วโมงกว่า ก็ออกมาและเดินไปที่ Santo Spirito ตามที่ตั้งใจไว้ โดยเล็งว่าจะไปดูรูปปั้นพระเยซูถูกตรึงกางเขน ผลงานไมเคิล แองเจโลตอนอายุ 17 แต่เสียดาย ดวงไม่ดี เขาปิดไม่ให้เข้าชม
From Santo Spirito, we walked along the road beside the river and crossed the bridge next to the famous Ponte Vecchio (The Old Bridge). The thing to do was to take some photos of the beautiful Ponte Vecchio. No need to be an photographer, everyone could take the nice photo since the bridge was so beautiful by itself!.
ออกจาก Santo Spirito มา ก็เดินเลียบแม่น้ำ ข้ามสะพานข้าง ๆ Ponte Vecchio ที่มีชื่อเสียง ได้มุมถ่ายรูปสุดฮิตมาด้วย สะพานนี้ถ่ายรูปออกมาแล้ว สวยจริง ๆ ไม่ต้องใช้ฝีมือเลย (แต่ถ้าใช้ฝีมือ คงจะสวยกว่าที่เราถ่าย ฮา)
It took only few minutes to arrived into the Uffizi Gallery. We decided to have lunch here since it was around 2.00 pm. Father saw some pigeons then he fed them with his bread. So, lot of pigeons came for his bread. Giving more bread, more pigeons came. Then I told him to rethink since the gallery was going to have lot of pigeon visitors.
เดินมาเรื่อย ๆ จนถึง Uffizi Gallery ที่โด่งดัง นั่งพักทานอาหารกลางวันกัน ตอนนั้นน่าจะเกือบบ่ายสองแล้วพ่อโยนขนมปังกับโดนัทให้เป็นอาหารนก นกมาเยอะขึ้นเรื่อย ๆ จนต้องบอกพ่อว่า หยุดดีกว่าไหมคะ เดี๋ยวนกจะพาเพื่อนมาเต็ม Gallery
Outside the gallery, we saw several statues of well known people. And yes, Mr. Galielo was there, too. Time to take a photo of him!!!
บริเวณรอบอาคารของ gallery นี้ จะมีรูปปั้นของบุคคลสำคัญอยู่หลายคนทีเดียว หันไปหันมา เจอท่าน Galileo ที่พ่อตามหา ถ่ายรูปไว้ซะเลย
Since Uffizi Gallery was one of the most popular tourist attractions of Florence, there was a long line of tourists in front of it. It took time to make decision whether we should visit inside the gallery. At last, father said he wanted to go inside. He could wait. During we stood in the line, there were a group of staff in yellow shirt came to offer the tickets. You could skip the line by buying tickets from them which was 4-5 Euro more expensive. One of that staff was so handsome. Father and I would like to help him, but we rethought and found that it was better to save our money. And it was a good experience to stand in the line!!
คิดกันอยู่นานว่าจะเข้าไปข้างในดีไหม แถวคอยยาวมาก พ่อบอกว่าเข้าไปก็ได้นะ รอได้ ลองดู ระหว่างที่รอ มีกลุ่มคนในชุดเหลืองมาขายบัตรเข้าชมในราคาที่แพงกว่า การรอเข้าคิวซื้อประมาณ 4-5 ยูโร มีคนหนึ่งหล่อมาก สุภาพเรียบร้อย อยากจะช่วยอยู่เหมือนกัน แต่ประหยัดดีกว่า แถมได้บรรยากาศของการเข้าคิวรอ สนุกไปอีกแบบ
Finally, it took 40 minutes waiting. It was worth waiting. Inside the gallery we saw lot of artworks. Most of them were wonderful paintings. But I thought what father had in his mind was “no more painting”.
เรายืนรอในขณะที่พ่อนั่งรอ ใช้เวลาประมาณ 40 นาที ก็ได้เข้าไปดูข้างใน เราว่าคุ้มมากนะ ที่เยอะที่สุดข้างในคืองานจิตรกรรม ดูกันจนอิ่มเอมมาก แต่พ่ออาจจะนึกในใจว่า “no more painting”
มีคำแนะนำว่า ถ้าจะดูงานศิลป์ข้างในแบบอิ่มเอม ให้แวะซื้อหนังสือแนะนำพิพิธภัณฑ์ที่ด้านในก่อนเข้าชมพิพิธภัณฑ์ เพราะจะได้ข้อมูลเรื่องราวของงานแต่ละชิ้นด้วย เราซื้อแล้วก็ตามไล่ล่าหาดูรูปทุกรูปในหนังสือ สนุกมาก ๆ

Pitti Palace and Boboli Garden
Before we flew out of Bangkok, when my supervisor knew that I was going to Florence, she gave me information of this city. Thank you very much. It was useful.
ก่อนออกเดินทางมา พอหัวหน้ารู้ว่าจะมา Florence ก็ถ่ายเอกสารข้อมูลสถานที่ท่องเที่ยวใน Florence ให้ ต้องขอขอบคุณ เป็นประโยชน์มากค่ะ เพราะงานนี้ทำการบ้านมาน้อยมาก ๆ
After having breakfast at a coffee shop not far from the hotel (The seller was so handsome. My father suspected he was a son of the owner. Even my father said he was so handsome.) , we wnt back to the hotel to talk to a hotel staff. She recommended us to cross the river and then visit many places in another side of the river first, then walk back to the places on another side of river, which was the same side that the hotel was located on. This staff was so kind to give us all information we needed such as buses numbers, distance and time, etc… Thank you once again.
หลังจากรับประทานอาหารเช้าเสร็จ (คนขายกาแฟหล่อมาก จนพ่อสงสัย หล่อขนาดนี้ทำไมมาขายกาแฟ พร้อมกับตั้งข้อสันนิษฐานว่า อาจจะเป็นลูกเจ้าของร้าน) ก็กลับมาคุยกับพนักงานโรงแรมว่าจะไปไหนก่อนดี พนักงานผู้ใจดี อธิบายว่า สถานที่ท่องเที่ยวอยู่สองฝั่งแม่น้ำ ถ้าเป็นเธอ เธอจะข้ามแม่น้ำไปเที่ยวฝั่งโน้นก่อนแล้วค่อยกลับมาเที่ยวฝั่งเดียวกับที่โรงแรมอยู่ พร้อมบอกรายละเอียดสายรถเมล์และระยะเวลาเดินทางเสร็จสรรพ ขอขอบคุณอีกครั้งค่ะ
We decided to follow her suggestion. The first place we intended to visit was Santo Spirito Church. However, the bus driver might not understand what I told him. So, he dropped us in front of Palazzo Pitti or Pitti Palace. It was okay. This palace was gorgeous and the Boboli Garden inside the palace was the place you should not miss it.
เราตัดสินใจเชื่อเธอ นั่งรถเมล์ข้ามแม่น้ำไปเที่ยวอีกฝั่งหนึ่งตามคำแนะนำ แล้ววางแผนเดินข้ามสะพานกลับมาเที่ยวต่อ จำได้ว่าตั้งใจจะไปโบสถ์ Santo Spirito ก่อน แต่คนขับรถเมล์คงไม่เข้าใจเรา ให้เราลงที่ Pitti Palace หรือ Palazzo Pitti ก่อน แต่ก็ดีเหมือนกัน เพราะเข้าไปแล้วประทับใจเลย
Pitti Palace นี้เดิมเป็นของนายธนาคารชื่อ Luca Pitti แต่ต่อมาตระกูล Medici ซึ่งรวยและมีอำนาจมาก (เห็นชื่อตระกูลนี้ทั่วเมืองไปหมด confirm ว่ารวยมาก ๆ) ได้เข้ามาซื้อไป ด้านในกว้างใหญ่ และเชื่อมต่อกับ Boboli Garden ซึ่งเราแนะนำว่า ต้องไปให้ได้ เพราะร่มรื่น ต้นไม้เยอะ และสามารถชมวิวที่สวยงามของ Florence ได้

Firenze
It took around an hour from Pisa to Florence or Firenze. The train tickets we bought form the train station not far from the Piramide in Rome were flexible one. We could take any train from Pisa Centrale to Firenze S. M. Novella station as we were convenient. However, before taking a train, we had to make the tickets valid by put them into the yellow validation machine at the train station. If you forget to valid the ticket, it is possible to be fined.
ออกเดินทางจากปิซาไปฟลอเรนซ์ด้วยรถไฟ คราวนี้ใช้เวลาประมาณหนึ่งชั่วโมง ตั๋วรถไฟที่เราซื้อมาจากสถานีใกล้ ๆ ปิระมิดในโรม เป็นตั๋วแบบยืดหยุ่น จะขึ้นรถไฟเที่ยวไหนก็ได้ แต่ก่อนขึ้นจะต้องไปทำการ validate ตั๋ว ด้วยการยื่นตั๋วเข้าไปในเครื่องสีเหลืองๆ ที่สถานีรถไฟ หากลืม อาจจะถูกปรับได้
We arrived into Firenze S. M. Novella around 5.00 p.m. and then took a bus to the hotel. Talking to the bus driver, he did not know the hotel but he promised to tell us when we arrived into the street that the hotel located on. Around five minutes later, the driver told us to get off the bus but we had to find the hotel by ourselves. Mama mia!!! There were only few people on the street. Fortunately, we found an elderly man. He did not speak English but he used body language to tell us to go straight and then turn right. Finally, we arrived into the hotel. (We found out later that we got off the bus at the wrong bus stop. If we got off at the right bus stop, the hotel was only 50 metres far from bus stop).
มาถึงสถานี Firenze S. M. Novella ประมาณใกล้ ๆ ห้าโมงเย็น เดินออกจากสถานีก็มาซื้อตั๋วรถเมล์ แล้วขึ้นรถเมล์ไปที่โรงแรมที่พัก ถามคนขับรถเมล์ว่ารู้จักโรงแรมไหม เขาว่าไม่รู้จัก แต่ถ้าถึงถนนที่เราบอกเขาจะแจ้งเรา ประมาณ 5 นาทีคนขับก็บอกว่าถึงแล้ว แต่ต้องไปหาดูเอาเองนะว่าโรงแรมอยู่ไหน เดินไปเรื่อย ๆ ปรากฏว่าแทบจะไม่มีคนบนท้องถนนเลย โชคดีเจอคุณลุงคนหนึ่ง ไม่พูดภาษาอังกฤษ แต่พอเราถามคุณลุงก็พาเดินไปหน่อยหนึ่งแล้วทำท่าให้เดินตรงเลี้ยวขวาออกไป แป๊บเดียวก็เจอโรงแรม (ตอนหลังมารู้ว่าเราลงเร็วเกินไป ถ้าเลยมาอีกสองป้าย ก็จะลงป้ายที่ห่างจากโรงแรม 50 เมตรเท่านั้น)
Hotel Leopolda
In front of the hotel it was super quiet. And it was quite dark when we looked into inside the hotel. Father looked at me with no confidence. I had to explain that I booked this hotel in the last minute before we left Bangkok. I also suspected that there would be no air conditioner. Yes, I just skimmed the information of the hotel. After pressing the bell button, the door was opened. We walked up the stair to the reception on the first floor (we found out later that there was an elevator). Aha!! The first floor was darker than the ground floor. At this point, father lost more confidence.
ที่หน้าประตูโรงแรมเงียบมาก ไร้ผู้คน แถมมองเข้าไปข้างในก็ดูมืด ๆ ชอบกล จนพ่อทำหน้าสงสัยว่าเราจองโรงแรมอะไรมา หันไปบอกพ่อว่าตอนจองรีบมาก เพราะจองคืนก่อนบินออกจากกรุงเทพฯ เลย คิดว่าโรงแรมอาจจะไม่มีแอร์ด้วย เรากดออดที่หน้าประตูจึงเปิดออก เดินขึ้นบันไดซึ่งค่อนข้างแคบไปที่ reception ชั้นสอง โอ้โฮ เฮะ มืดกว่าเดิม พ่อทำหน้าไม่มั่นใจหนักกว่าเดิม
The hotel staff told us that we had paid for the room by credit card and there would be no refund. I thought she said that because of our faces. Okay!! There was no return!!!
บทสนทนากับพนักงานโรงแรมในช่วงต้น ๆ จำได้ว่า พนักงานบอกว่า เราจองแบบชำระเงินแล้วและไม่มีการคืนเงิน สงสัยว่าที่เขาพูดกับเราแบบนี้ เพราะว่าเราคงแสดงออกทางสีหน้าอย่างชัดเจนว่า อั๊ยยะ ….. แต่เอาเถิด มาถึงขนาดนี้แล้ว ค่าโรงแรมก็ไม่ใช่จะถูก ๆ นะ
Though we had no impression with the hotel, we felt better when we saw our room. It was spacious with clean bathroom, TV and free wifi. There was no conditioner but electric fan. It was acceptable since it was not hot. And at night we could sleep so well. The longer we stayed, the more we found out that all hotel staff (I suspected they were the owners) were very friendly and helpful. They helped us plan our travelling program, find restaurants and also provided many of bookings in case we needed them.
หลังจากรับกุญแจแล้วเข้าไปในห้อง โอ้ ดีกว่าที่คิดไว้มาก ห้องกว้างขวาง ห้องน้ำก็สะอาดดี แม้จะไม่มีแอร์ มีแต่พัดลมให้ แต่อากาศก็สบาย ๆ ไม่ร้อน มีทีวีให้ดู มี wifi ฟรี ก็ใช้ได้เลย แถมไป ๆ มาๆ พนักงานก็อัธยาศัยดีมากให้ความช่วยเหลือดีมาก ทั้งการวางแผนท่องเที่ยว แนะนำร้านอาหาร และมีบริการจองตั๋วเข้าชมพิพิธภัณฑ์ต่าง ๆ ให้ด้วย แต่เราไม่ได้ใช้บริการ
The hotel we stayed named Hotel Leopolda. The room rate did not include the breakfast. However, there were no problem. Around the hotel, there were some coffee shops (at least three shops) or you could have breakfast at the hotel.
โรงแรมที่เราพักนี้ชื่อ Hotel Leopolda http://www.hotelleopolda.com/ มีห้องพักไม่มาก ค่าห้องพักไม่รวมอาหารเช้า แต่ไม่เป็นปัญหา เพราะใกล้ ๆ โรงแรมมีร้านขายกาแฟและขนมหรืออาหารเช้าอื่น ๆ ที่เปิดแต่เช้าอย่างน้อยสามร้าน หรือจะเลือกทานที่โรงแรมก็ได้
The Chinese Restaurant
Since we arrived into the hotel in the evening, there was no program for today. We just asked the hotel staff to recommended us the good Chinese restaurant with reasonable price for our dinner. There was a Chinese restaurant not far from the hotel. The owner was a middle age Chinese lady. She always smiled. My father loved Chinese food, therefore we had dinner at this restaurant three days continuously. The owner gave us small discounts every day. What we ordered for each day were fried rice with shrimp, a cup soup (wonton or crab or checken), fried chicken or duck, and a big bottle of drinking water. It took around 16-18 Euros per meal.
เนื่องจากเรามาถึงค่อนข้างเย็น โปรแกรมวันนี้จึงไม่มีอะไร แค่หาร้านอาหารสำหรับมือเย็น พนักงานโรงแรมแนะนำร้านอาหารจีนใกล้ ๆโรงแรม รสชาติดี ราคาสมเหตุสมผล เราก็เลยไปตามนั้น เจ้าของร้านเป็นผู้หญิงจีนวัยกลางคน ยิ้มแย้มดีมาก ลดราคาให้เราด้วย สองพ่อลูกเลยไปทานร้านนี้ 3 วันติดกัน อาหารที่สั่งคล้าย ๆ กันทุกวันคือ ข้าวผัดกุ้งยืนพื้น 1 จาน ซุป 1 ถ้วย กับข้าวประเภทเป็ดหรือไก่ 1 จาน น้ำดื่ม 1 ขวดใหญ่ ทั้งหมดก็จะอยู่ประมาณ 16-18 ยูโร ต่อมื้อ พ่อมีความสุขมากเพราะชอบอาหารจีน
After having dinner, we walked back to the hotel and went to bed quickly since we needed lot of energy for tomorrow trip.
เสร็จจากมื้อเย็นก็ค่อย ๆ เดินกลับโรงแรม พักผ่อนเอาแรงสำหรับการท่องเที่ยววันพรุ่งนี้

It was the last day in Rome before we went to Pisa. But it was not the last day in Rome of this trip. We had to fly back to Bangkok from Fumicino airport. Therefore we would come back to Rome.
The travel plan for today was so simple. We would go inside the Colosseum since the first day we only walked around it with my sister. Another place to visit was a cemetery. No kidding!! My sister recommended us to visit the cemetery since it was lush and cool and surrounded with trees. This cemetery was not far from the Pyramid metro station.
วันสุดท้ายในโรมก่อนออกเดินทางไปปิซา แต่ยังไม่ใช่วันท้ายสุดที่จะอยู่ในโรม เพราะตอนบินกลับเราจะต้องบินออกจากโรม แผนการท่องเที่ยววันนี้สบาย ๆ ง่าย ๆ คือ ไปเดินเล่นด้านในโคลอสเซียม เพราะวันแรกที่ไปกับพี่สาวนั้นเราเดินชมบริเวณรอบ ๆ เท่านั้น อีกที่หนึ่งที่จะไปคือสุสาน ไม่ได้ล้อเล่น พี่สาวแนะนำว่าตรงสถานีเมโทรที่ชื่อปีระมิด มีสุสานแห่งหนึ่ง ร่มรื่นมาก น่าไปเดินหรือนั่งเล่น
Another mission of today was to buy train tickets from Pisa to Florence. We have bought e-tickets for Rome-Pisa and Florence-Rome. But we could not buy tickets for Pisa-Florence. I tried to buy it many times but failed. Well, the hotel staff told me that I could buy at the train station which connected to the Pyramid metro station. That was a very good idea since we were going to the Pyramid station!!
ภารกิจอีกประการหนึ่งที่ต้องทำให้สำเร็จในวันนี้คือ ซื้อตั๋วรถไฟจากปิซาไปฟลอเรนซ์ ตอนก่อนออกเดินทางจากกรุงเทพฯ มาโรม เราซื้อตั๋วรถไฟออนไลน์จากโรมไปปิซา และจากฟลอเรนซ์กลับมาโรมแล้ว แต่ตั๋วรถไฟจากปิซาไปฟลอเรนซ์ไม่สามารถซื้อแบบออนไลน์ได้ ไม่ทราบสาเหตุเหมือนกัน พยายามซื้อหลายครั้งแต่ไม่สำเร็จ พนักงานโรงแรมบอกว่า เราสามารถซื้อตั๋วรถไฟได้ที่สถานีรถไฟที่สามารถเดินจากสถานีเมโทรปิระมิดไปได้ เพราะว่าสองสถานีนี้เชื่อมต่อกัน สะดวกมาก
Colosseum Again!!
We arrived into Colosseum quite early. The line in front of the Collosseum was not long. We decided to buy tickets at the Colosseum gate. (As I mentioned in the previous post, if you face the long line, walk further to the Palatino or Palatine gate. It will save your time since it mostly has shorter lines.) We waited around fifteen minutes and then went inside the Colosseum. Stunning!!
เราออกเดินทางไปถึงโคลอสเซียมแต่เช้า ปรากฏว่าคนเข้าแถวซื้อตั๋วทางฝั่งประตูโคลอสเซียมยังไม่ยาวนัก เราจึงตัดสินใจเข้าทางประตูโคลอสเซียม (อย่างที่เคยแนะเทคนิคไว้ ถ้าแถวยาว เดินไปเข้าอีกประตูหนึ่ง ตรงแถว Palatino สยาย ไม่ต้องรอนาน) ประมาณ 15 นาทีก็ได้เข้าไปชมด้านใน คุ้มมาก ไม่อยากบรรยาย ดูรูปดีกว่าค่ะ
While my father and I were walking around and talking to each other, there was a lady greeted us with the Thai greeting “Sawaddee kha”. Oh! She was a Thai student who was studying in USA. She flew from the USA to Rome..alone… Wow!!
เดินชมโคลอสเซียมและคุยกับพ่อไปเรื่อย ๆ มีสุภาพสตรีท่านหนึ่งหันมา “สวัสดีค่ะ” อ้าว คนไทยเหมือนกัน คุยกันไปมาได้ความว่าเรียนอยู่อเมริกา บินมาเที่ยวที่อิตาลี มาคนเดียวเสียด้วย เก่งมาก!!!
We left Colosseum and then walked to Palatino or Palantine Hill to see landscape of the areas around Colosseum. They were magnificent. I noticed that my father was tired. So, we stopped and sat under trees many times.
ออกจากโคลอสเซียม ก็เดินไป Palatino หรือ Palantine Hill เดินชมวิวด้านบน และดูเสาโรมัน ช่างใหญ่โตดีจริง แต่ดูเหมือนพ่อจะเหนื่อย เราจึงนั่งพักกันเป็นระยะ ๆ
Campo Cestio
The next station was Pyramid or Piramide station. The cemetery we were going to visit was the non-Catholic Cemetery or Campo Cestio. According to the volunteer of this cemetery, it was more than 200 years old. It was the resting place of many non-catholic people who died whilst visiting or living in Rome. It was located next to the Pyramid Gaius Cestius.
สถานีถัดไปคือสถานีปิระมิด เพื่อจะไปเที่ยวสุสานตามแผน สุสานนี้มีชื่อว่า Campo Cestio เป็นสุสานที่มีอายุสองร้อยกว่าปี (ถ้าเราฟังอาสาสมัครที่สุสานไม่ผิดนะ) เป็นสุสานของชาวต่างชาติที่มาอาศัยอยู่ที่โรม เราหลงทางเล็กน้อย จริง ๆ แล้ว สุสานอยู่หลังปิระมิดเลย แต่เราเดินผิดถนน ถ้าใครไปโรมจะไปเที่ยวสุสานบ้าง จำไว้เลยว่าสุสานอยู่หลังปิระมิด
Even it was located next to the Pyramid, we got lost. Fortunately, we met a Canadian lady which her baby in a stroller. She was very nice. She said it was easier for us to walk with her. She found out that when people in Rome told travelers how to reach the place, they still got lost. From the short conversation, her parents visited Thailand and told her how they liked my country. She said she would like to visit Thailand one day.
เราโชคดีถามไปเรื่อย ๆ เจอสุภาพสตรีชาวแคนาดาที่มาอยู่ที่โรม บังเอิญเข็นลูกเล็ก ๆ มาจ่ายตลาด พอถามทางปุ๊บเธอบอกว่าที่โรมนี้บอกทางแล้วส่วนใหญ่จะไปไม่ถูก เธอเดินพาไปดีกว่า เธอพาเดินเกือบจะถึงสุสานจึงแยกจากกัน เท่าที่มีโอกาสได้คุยกัน พ่อแม่ของเธอเคยมาเมืองไทยแล้วชอบมาก กลับไปเล่าให้เธอฟังจนเธออยากมาบ้าง
Inside the cemetery, it was serene and rarely had visitors. My father decided to have ciambella (sugar doughnut) on a bench while I was climbing up and down to explore many nice and famous graves such as John Keats’ and Percy Shelley’s ones.
ด้านในของสุสานเงียบสงบมาก แทบจะไม่มีคนเข้ามาดูเลย พ่อนั่งทา ciambella หรือโดนัทน้ำตาล ตรงม้านั่งบริเวณสนามหญ้า ในขณะที่เราปีนสำรวจหลุมศพต่าง ๆ มีหลุมศพของคนดัง ๆ อย่าง John Keats และ Percy Shelley กวีอังกฤษ ด้วย
It took almost an hour to walk around the cemetery and pay respect to deceased persons. Before we left the cemetery, we talked to two elderly female volunteers. One of them had visited Thailand and said she loved Bangkok. I asked her whether she had problem with the crowded Bangkok. She said sometimes you wanted to spend time in crowded places. Both of them tried to show us the list of visitors which they believed there were Thai visitors. However, they tried for many minutes and found nothing. They thought the database was not updated.
หลังจากชมสุสานและทำความเคารพผู้ล่วงลับเสร็จใช้เวลาประมาณเกือบชั่วโมง ก็แวะไปคุยกับอาสาสมัครของสุสานเล็กน้อย เป็นคุณน้าสองท่าน ท่านหนึ่งเคยมาเที่ยวเมืองไทยด้วยบอกว่าชอบกรุงเทพฯ เราถามว่ากรุงเทพฯ คนเยอะ ไม่เป็นไรหรือ คุณน้าตอบว่าบางครั้งเราก็อยากอยู่ในที่ ๆ คนเยอะ ๆ บ้าง ทั้งสองท่านพยายามเปิดฐานข้อมูลในคอมพิวเตอร์เพื่อแสดงให้เราดูว่า น่าจะเคยมีคนไทยแวะมาเที่ยวสุสานนี้นะ พยายามอยู่ตั้งนาน แต่สุดท้ายค้นไม่เจอ น้า ๆ บอกว่า สงสัยยังไม่ได้ปรับปรุงฐานข้อมูล
We then walked back to the Piramid station. I walked to the trained station while my father was sitting at the Piramide station. It was 1.5 kilometres of walking. Finally, I bought train ticket for Pisa-Florence. At this point, we were ready to go to Pisa tomorrow.
จากนั้นเราก็กลับไปที่สถานีปิระมิด เพื่อเดินไปสถานีรถไฟที่เชื่อมต่อกัน (เราเดินส่วนพ่อนั่งรอ) เดินไกลเหมือนกันประมาณกิโลครึ่งน่าจะได้ แล้วก็ซื้อตั๋วรถไฟจากปิซาไปฟลอเรนซ์ พร้อมแล้วที่จะออกเดินทางวันพรุ่งนี้
